Private Flute Lessons
If you want to play the flute, it's best to start lessons as early as possible. Most band programs begin in 6th grade, but students can begin taking lessons sooner. There are instrument options for students even as young as 5 or 6, that can accommodate for small hands. Flute has the steepest learning curve, when compared with the other band instruments, so lessons are very helpful the summer before your first band class.
